I love the artwork by the way and was just curious as to why they usually draw figures with large eyes, sort of similar to the eyes on figures in Persian Art.

I think because they suck at art.

I have Christen based artwork that I would like for a company to sell these items in a Christian bookstore or stores. What action should I take? I would like to be like "Thomas Kinkade "

She is preparing to make her third CD, and says it will be a worship CD from her heart to Gods.

NTHING

This summer i've been spending some time looking at Christian Artwork and buying posters. My favorite pieces are Pieta by Michelangelo and Guido Reni's Archangel Michael. I myself am a conservative Lutheran but I have no problem displaying Catholic Art. If anyone knows of any pieces which amaze them or have excellent meaning behind them, let me know. Thanks.

Cranach the Elder did a fantastic triptych that is in Wittenberg. The first is a baptism with Melanchton and Luther, the second is the Last Supper, and the third is a confession & absolution scene. Definite meanings hidden into each painting, some obvious, some not so.
Cranach was a contemporary of Luther, and he did quite a bit of both religous and secular work.

I was thinking of those old Children's bibles you would find in Doctor's surgeries

Well, you can always Google, or check out Ebay. Check with some minister's and see if they know where some may be found. You will probably get better answer's from The Vatican or Episcopalians. They are basically the oldest churches. I hope this will help you
